Yes, if you take it as needed only with foods and you never have stomach ulcer post bypass. If you need ibuprofen quite often or you have history of peptic or anastomotic ulcer, you should ask your doctor for a prescription of celecoxib (celebrex). Take care!

If you tolerate the medication Without side effects and do not have a history of peptic ulcer disease, you should be able to tolerate intermittent use of ibuprofen. Use it judiciously if you do. Good luck.
