A member asked:

How long does it take for a rash to go away, caused by food reaction?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Depends: There are different types of rash that can be caused by food reactions. The ige allergic rash is rapid in onset and usually takes days to start disappearing, usually gone in weeks if skin blistered. Delayed reactions to foods can take longer to resolve and they usually occur later after exposure as well.
