Sorry I don't : Think it would do so .... It might help with the itching afterwards but not before... Keep your pet free of fleas to accomplish what you want to do. Good luck.

Agree w Dr. Novick: To prevent flea bites wash everything fleas touch w hot water ; dry on high heat. Vacuum house several times.Empty vacuum bag outdoors ; put disposable bag in 2nd sealable bag in outdoor trash can.
