Anti-histamines: Given that you have seen your primary care or ENT and have viral cold diagnosis. You can use over the counter Benadryl (diphenhydramine) 25-50 mg 2 hrs before sleeping and naphcon-a drops 3x a day for a maximum of 5 days. If symptoms persists see your doctor again.
