OTC meds: Your symptoms are most likely due to a viral upper respiratory illness or allergies. In either event, I advise taking an over the counter antihistamine like zyrtec at night x 14 days, a decongestant like sudafed 2 x daily x 10 days, and afrin nasal spray 2 x daily x 3 days only. If your symptoms do not improve after another 10 days, you should see your doctor, or sooner if your symptoms get wors
