It would work: If you wore on a different pill, or possibly if you gave that pill a 3 month trial. Talk to your doctor about continuous cycling.

Exercise: The week of placebos is sometimes iron pills to help with your blood loss. Moving straight to the next pack is not advisable as this doesn't let your body remove the uterus tissue (have a period). Take the pill as directed. More exercise may help alleviate symptoms and shorten your period, but everyone responds differently.
