Skipping periods: If you skip all the placebo pills and continue taking hormonal pills from the next pack you should not get a period. There could be breakthrough bleeding, but usually that happens after more than 5-6 weeks of continuous use, some women do not have any breakthrough bleeding for months at a time and skip all their placebo pills - as a treatment for heavy periods, painful periods or endometriosis.
