Oh dear: I am glad you are interested in good nutrition. Vegetables may be more comfortable in a cooked format. Avoid high acid fruit/vegetables like raw tomatoes. The most important food to eliminate is the alcohol. Drinking 2 drinks is associated with micro bleeding in the stomach, and may be the cause of your gastritis. Seek help if you can't stop.

Avoid acid: You want to stay away from acidic foods, oranges, pineapple, tomatoes etc. I would google acidity for different fruits you are planning to eat. If ur on medication per ur physician, u may be able to still eat some if these. Talk to ur doctor.

Gastritis: For one, stop the alcohol completely -- your info indicates drinking 8-14 alcoholic drinks a week. This "fruit of the vine" will irritate your stomach lining. You can eat foods containing flavonoids, like apples, celery, cranberries (including cranberry juice), onions, garlic, and tea. This may help stop the growth of any h. Pylori present. Also avoid high fat foods (like avocados).
