Your blood counts ab: Your blood counts, especially the White cell count is abnormally low. This can sometimes be due to a virus infection. But it can also indicate problem in blood formation in the bone marrow. I would advise that you discuss this with your PCP and get a repeat check of your CBC(complete blood count) in 7-10 days from the date of your last blood count check. WBC should be >4,000, neutrophil cout >1500
