Progressive: Myelofibrosis (a myeloproliferative disorder) is a progressive disease. However the rate of progression varies from patient to patient. In addition there are several treatments available which may be able to slow or stop the progression. Speak with your physician about a referral to a hematologist for further insight into this disease and its treatment.
