Further evaluation: How long symptoms been going on? If you are waking up with pain, with no obvious reason for pain (for example, extra work or long exercises etc), it needs to be further investigated. Best would be to discuss with your pcp.

Contstipation: Try natural calm if you can find it. It works the best of anything I have found and you can go up or down on the powder that you mix with water. Constipation can cause this pain that you describe. If you can't find that try miralax (polyethylene glycol). You can go up and down on the amount of that powder that you also mix in water. If that does not work call your doctor for a complete clean out regimen.
