How long will antibiotics (amoxicillin 500mg.) stay effective, to be safe to take?

One year: Antibiotics are safe to take for up to a year but some even less. Follow the expiration date that is on the bottle and dont take it past that date.

Antibiotics: It's generally a good idea to not use a prescription drug beyond one year after it was filled.
