Probably not: If your provider has you on a strict diet, there must be a reason. Suggest you discuss this with the provider who placed the dietary restriction.

Careful w/sugar: I don't believe in overly restrictive or strict diets. It's unreasonable to think you'll give up sweets completely. But don't give in to every small sweet craving. A little dark chocolate (1-2-small squires a day) is considered by most to be good for you. Sugar is definitely not weight friendly!
