On a diet with lots of veg like carrots, lettuce, snap peas, and a bit of corn, with 2 tbsp of hummus do you think this will help me lose weight?

Yes but add protein: Eating mostly veggies is a great way to lost weight but it's important to get adequate protein. 2 tbsp of hummus has no more than 2 grams of protein. Most people need 30-50 grams of protein a day. Consider other beans/nuts/seeds, much more hummus or adding a protein powder such as hemp seed, rice, pea or whey protein powder.
