Find answers: If this condition continues or gets worse for the next week or 2, please see a physician. If you are very anxious, you can get an evaluation by a psychologist or psychiatrist to see what can be done to reduce your anxiety. There are self-help books to help with anxiety, too.

Somatic symptoms: Anxiety can be exacerbated by 'somatic symptoms'. These are bodily symptoms that are magnified and analyzed and given false meanings. Your hand being harder to move is one of those symptoms. Learning to control the thought processes and cognitive distortions is the key to managing anxiety successfully. Working with a therapist on these goals will help.
