Yes: It is very common with clindamycin. Clindamycin is probably the antibiotic most associated with diarrhea. Your doctor may want to switch antibiotics if your diarrhea is bad.

Yes,: As the antibiotics also killed good bacteria as well not to speak women can also get yeast infection too. Ask the doctor who gave you antibiotics but in meantime try to restore the flora with lots of lactobacilli such as yogurt and probiotics. Wash you hands every time you handle the baby, before and after!

Clindamycin diarrhea: Clindamycin can cause diarrhea and this can become very serious. A mother that is breastfeeding can pass Clindamycin to the baby via the breast milk, and the baby can develop diarrhea. Clindamycin diarrhea can lead to a bowel infection of c. Difficile which can be extremely dangerous. It is extremely important that you call your doctor and the babies pediatrician immediately.
