MEDS & BREAST MILK: Moderately safe to breastfeed while on clinda, there are no controlled studies, minimal non-threatening adverse effects can occur, like the diarrhea your baby has. Taking by IV route, pass more in milk than taking orally. Talk to ur doc asap bc u have side effects- diarrhea, cramps, to check for c.Diff colitis. Give baby some pedialyte for diarrhea, if worsening, check with the pediatrician soon.

Yes: Stop your antibiotic and call your obstetrician or the babies pediatrician for further guidance. This could be related to the antibiotic or something else like a stomach flu.
