Not likely: Lots of testing has been done on these devices they are designed to withstand high forces, it they are placed properly the risk is low.

Mobi-C: This is a relatively brand new device, and it is the first and only artificial disc on the market approved for two-level surgery. The data from the company shows good results. Realize, however, that the mechanism of stabilization for this device is very different from others that have been on the market a lot longer.
