Could happen: Sometimes cancer can just happen, you increase your chances by doing things that are known to cause it but that doesnt mean it can't happen if you dont do those things. Its possible, but having a lump in your mouth doesnt mean its cancer, it could be many things. See your physician.

Lesion: The "lump" near your molar(s) can be caused by a number of things, including an infection, food getting trapped, and a wisdom tooth erupting. How long has the lesion been there? Is it hard or soft? Is it flesh colored or an open wound? These questions will be discussed at your visit to a local dentist. Have a dentist evaluate the lesion to determine the cause.
