Bulging ear drum?: If your ear is that painful you may well have a serious ear infection and may need a doctor to open the ear drug to drain the infecton/ prescribe antibiotics. It is important that you have it evaluated as a ruptured ear drum is less easy to repain and you may risk deafness.
