If you had mono can you get it again from kissing?

Yes and no: Most mono is caused by the eb virus and a prior infection will provide you long term immunity.There are other viruses that can produce a mono syndrome like cytomegalovirus, and the prior eb virus mono will not prevent you from having this form.
