No, not directly.: If "ibs" means inflammatory bowel syndrome, then Concerta will not help, and could possibly speed up bowel motility (i.e., speed of passage thru intestine). There could be some indirect benefit if you function better, so anxiety decreases & then the ibs symptoms improve a little because of lower anxiety. But i would not count on this type of effect.

CONCERTA FOR ADD: SSRI LIKE ZOLOFT/CELEXA/PROZAC May slightly help IBS, due to increased serotonin receptors in the gut.
