Perhaps but....: If you have a bad tooth that is infected the infection can spread towards your throat. Since you never say where the bad tooth is. This being said...Why not visit your dentist and have the tooth treated and see if your sore throat goes away. You'll know after a round of antibiotic treatment or if the tooth is bad enuf..Getting it removed. Try not to live with an infection.

YES: If the bad tooth is one in the lower maxilla, and one at the back of your mouth, then it is very possible . The bad tooth infection spreads to the throat and bacteria invades the area. Get rid of the dental infection and very possible your "neighbor" site will also heal.
