No: Swallowing a large amount of toothpaste will probably make you sick in the stomach and cause intestinal problems.

Not likely: First of all, try to never swallow toothpaste! it will not poison you, but it is not made to be swallowed. Toothpaste has enough artificial ingredients, and i would feel more comfortable if it doesn't pass through your digestive system. There has been no connection between 'cancer' and regular toothpaste use.
