Can ringworm on cheek be a white patch?

Ringworm=fungus: Ringworm is a fungal infection, and doesn't usually appear as a white patch unless it has been treated and going through the 'post-inflammatory hypopigmentation' phase. Other types of fungal infections DO appear this way in their primary state.
