Barq's root beer bad for teeth?

Sugar &carbonation: Any soda (regular or diet) is bad for teeth as the carbonation (bubbles) is from carbonic acid, which in itself can eat away tooth structure in a few days. Plus the sugar in regular soda is bad for teeth. Years ago, i placed an extracted tooth in a bottle of soda and within a couple of days, it had disappeared!

Everything: In excess is bad including sodas. The acids and sugars cause demineralization of the tooth structure. Hope this helps.
