White filling: By replacing the cavity with white filling. Like any other cavity with a little bit of local anesthesia.

Composite bonding: The decay is removed using a drill, air abrasion, or a laser. After that the tooth is etched using 33% phosphoric acid gel for 15 to 30 seconds. A desensitizer is then painted on. After that a bonding agent is painted on and cured. After that a composite resin paste is sculpted in place and cured. Last the hardened composite is smoothed and polished. This is done with local anesthesia. Very easy.

Carefully: Often we use a "cord" to push your gum tissue away from the cavity and carefully remove the decay and fill the cavity like any other restoration. Sometimes, however, if there is a great deal of moisture in the area, the dentist will choose to fill the cavity with a different material that releases Fluoride to increase the longevity of the restoration.

Like other cavities: Like other cavities. The decay is cleaned out and a tooth colored filling is bonded to the area. You will not even see the cavity when it's finished

Cavities at the gum: These cavities form because the gums are usually exposing the delicate root surface which is extremely pours and susceptible to cavities. They are easily restored with a composite (tooth colored) filling material that will bond to the tooth and literally disappear to the naked eye!

Retraction and fill: The usual way to repair is to use retraction cord to temporarily move the gums out of the way, and remove the caries, and place a tooth colored or in the old days amalgam filling.

Removing decay: cavities can be only repaired by complete removal of the caries. Usually they are removed by a hand piece and or air abrasion technique used at some dental practices

Carefully: We carefully remove all decay, sometimes retracting the tissue with special retraction cord to protect it and allow best access to cavity. Then we restore the cavity with either a composite resin or a glass ionomer or a resinionomer (combination). sometimes we will place a protective and insulating layer first, and then the restoration. After restoration, we remove the cord.

Composite filling: Gum line cavities are usually repaired with tooth colored (composite resin) fillings. Your Dentist will make sure that he removes all of the decay and that the gum tissue does not interfere with the filling.

Cavities: in the neck part of the teeth are usually caused by abfraction due to lateral interference of teeth during function or teeth grinding aggravated by malocclusion. It is important to find the cause because if the natural structure of the teeth broke, it will do the same with the fillings.

Tooth colored resins: Cavities along your gum lines (which we call class five restorations) are usually restored with white or tooth colored resins. The most conservative technique.
