Duloxetine for Fibro: There are now three drugs that have been approved by the fda for the treatment of fibromyalgia-duloxetine (cymbalta), lyrica (pregabalin), (pregabalin) and milnacipran (savella). Studies has shown no difference in effectiveness between savella and cymbalta. We usually use one of the two along with lyrica (pregabalin). This combination has been the first medications to provide real benefit to fibromyalgia patients in years.

Fluoxetine: does not work for fibromyalgia. Should never be taken with duloxetine together!
