A good question: That cannot be answered over the internet. It requires a personal one on one clinical evaluation along with sufficient appropriate x-rays in order to discuss treatment options with you. These types of procedures are appropriate in certain situations but we can't say what is right for you.Have your dentist better explain what he\she wants to do & why.If you are not sure, get a 2nd, even 3rd opinion.
