Vascular related: The coloration in your feet and ankles can many times be related to bloodflow. In particular, if you keep your feet down, gravity tends to keep the blood in the are, the feet can sometimes swell, but they become discolored, in some instances - blotchy, red. Elevate your feet to see if the color changes. If so, then it's normal. But if you aren't sure, have your feet checked by podiatry.

Get checked.: These lesions need to be visualized & a history needs to be obtained in order to make an accurate diagnosis. Sometimes lab testing or biopsy is necessary.
