Whenever i stand for long periods of time my calfs, ankles, and feet get red hot and blotchy. they also itch very badly and sometimes even tingle and im really not sure why. i find it to be worse when i shower.

Varicose veins: Many women develop varicose veins as they age and although a 16 year old is still young, genetics, pregnancy and obesity can cause them to appear early. They can be seen on the legs as thick purple veins or a grouping of tiny veins close to the surface. This can cause itching, redness, swelling of the feet and ankles that comes and goes. There are many other causes as well.
