Hematuria: Blood in the urine is usually considered worrisome only if there are more than 3 red cells per high power field. Before worrying, i would check one more time. If red cells are still seen, you will need to see a urologist to determine whether the bleeding is coming from your kidneys, ureters, or bladder (or prostate if you're a male).
