Non healing sore: A lip cancer will often present as a non healing sore. This can be anywhere on the lips, and is related to smoking, especially cigars and pipes but also cigarettes. We are seeing a rise in incidence in young people who "dip snuff" or use chewing tobacco. Here's a picture of a neglected lip cancer.
