Normal: There can be mild fluctuations in the lie of the iud. As long as you palpate the strings, you should be reassured that the iud is in the correct position and that it is still within the uterus.

Absolutely: Only the string is moving, not the iud most likely, check once a month and see your doc if you have a change in pelvic symptoms.
