Pregnancy unlikely: It is unlikely that you are pregnant with a paragard IUDin place but the best way to know for sure is to do a pregnancy test and, if it is negative and your period still hasn't started, repeat it in 3-5 days. If the test is still negative, it is time to look into other things like thyroid disease which can cause a delayed period. Hope this helps.
