Worth a try: I often recommend proteolytic enzymes to my patients for a variety of conditions & find them safe & effective for reducing inflammation. They are likely to help some people with inflammation affecting the eustachian tubes and are thus worth a try, i question whether one has to dissolve in mouth- i find they do work when swallowed. Consider allergen avoidance (esp. Wheat & dairy) & homeopathy too.
