Dyshydrotic eczema: It may be from excess water on the hands, try a moisturizer.

Several things: If the blisters are painful and accompanied by a sore throat, then it is likely viral. If they itch, then it could be a dry skin condition. Other illnesses have peeling fingers after the illness starts to resolve. I think knowing what else accompanies the blisters will help know the cause. If you need an exact answer you might want to have a doctor see him.

Eczema: Type of 'skin allergy or sensitivity' called dyshidrotic eczema. Can get exacerbated by contact with water or chemicals. Use of mild steroid improves condition.
