Herniated disc: You are relatively young for severe arthritis although possible. Sounds like you have a herniated cervical disc. If causing persistant pain and numbness you probably need to seek the attention of an ortho doc or pain management specialist. If only having pain and no weakness might be worth trying an injection and therapy. If you have weakness with a large disc u may require surgery. Good luck.

Get an appropriate: Diagnosis, after evaluation, review of images, and a physical examination. Make sure all 3 of these occur prior to a doctor telling your what is the likely cause of your symptoms. If you don't feel you are getting a good evaluation, seek a second opinion. If your symptoms are coming from your spine, nsaids, and physical therapy will be very helpful in addressing some of your symptoms. Good luck.
