A member asked:

My right ovary is enlarged with 26.8 cc's of fluid in it along with a 2.3 cm mildly complex cyst. is this concerning for ovarian ca?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No: At your age the risk for malignancy is very low. Given you don't have a strong family history of early breast or ovarian cancer. It's common for young women to have ovarian masses that have some complexity to them (a marker for cancer). These are almost always a dermoid, hemorrhagic cyst, endometrioma or another benign ovarian mass. Follow your doc's instructions, but try not to worry.
