Yes: Being iron deficient feels terrible and interferes with your ability to do the basic things you need to. I'm also seriously concerned that you are iron deficient, in addition to some other serious health problems. Has your physician sought a cause for your blood loss? If you are a vegetarian, this might be time to reconsider despite the moral advantages.

Low ferritin levels: One of the causes of low ferritin is due to hypothyroidism. You certainly should see your doctor or an endocrinologist to haves your thyroid function evaluated.

No : Ferritin is a protein that stores iron. There is no ferritin injection. If you mean iron then the decision has to be made on serum iron, TIBC , % sat. Retic count. You have to know the cause of low iron. You have to be specific as what medicines you took. Please see your doctor for exact nature of your illness and treatment. Thanks.
