Finger Injury: That sure seems like an expensive option. I would first start with your family doctor who can order an xray and put the finger in a brace if needed.

Hand specialist: I would recommend a hand specialist. There can several injuries to this finger and or joint including not only fracture of the bone but also ligament injuries and dislocation which are better handled by a hand specialist.
