Half an hour ago i took 10 mg of lexapro (escitalopram) but i just threw up. should i take another? or is it already in my system?

Your prescribing professional probably told you it takes 4-6 weeks to get full effect for this medication. Assuming you have been taking this medicine for a period of time this was probably not an adverse reaction. So i would suggest that you can wait till tomorrow and just restart 10mg daily without a problem. If this makes u anxious take 10mg today.

No and why vomiting?: No i would not take another lexapro (escitalopram). The more important question is why are you vomiting? This needs more immediate attention . Why did you vomit: If you are sure you're not pregnant, Lexapro (escitalopram) on an empty stomach can make you nauseated, or when you start taking it. Missing a dose won't hurt if you take it regularly, taking another lose once you feel better shouldn't hurt either.
