Rashes...: ...On newborns are numerous, common, and usually harmless. What you are seeing is likely either something called erythema toxicum or pustular melanosis. They sound scary, but involve neither anything toxic nor any pus. The best thing is always to go to your pediatrician and check it out.

Could be Erythema To: Skin rashes are common-but if you think these are boils or pimples with redness and pus-please go to the doctor right away to make sure there is no staphlococcal infection. Does anyone else in the family have these boils? They are quite infectious.
