Ratio: Inr is a ratio used to measure blood clotting. Inr of 1.08 is within normal range. If taking warfarin for anticoagulation, this reading would not be at goal.

INR: Inr of 1.08 is normal, therefore nothing has to be done.Usually its done prior to surgery to make sure that your clotting mechanism is ok so that you wont bleed after surgery. Also done on a regular basis if you are taking a blood thinner such as Coumadin or warfarin.
