It doesn't hurt: It is better to try to prevent acne scarring than treat it. You need to following a good skin care program that includes an anti acne agent such as benzoyl peroxide. Your skin care physician can prescribe one for you. Avoid picking at the eruptions and seek treatment for any infection. Revitol is an over the counter preparation that claims to be all natural and may help.

Not really: There are few kinds of acne scars. Also there are so many options for acne scar treatments such as laser resurfacing, deep chemical peel, dermabrasion and subcision. Scar cream can help with other laser or surgical treatments. But using cream alone is like you put Aspirin on your forehead instead of taking by mouth when you have a headache.
