The difference between a broken nose and a deviated septum?

Inside or outside: A broken nose usually refers to the bones of the nose which you can feel easily from the outside. A deviated septum usually refers to the cartilage that is in the middle of your nose (between your nostrils) bending or leaning to one side or another.

Related but differen: A deviated septum is a crooked or dislocated cartilage or bone in the divider that separates the two nasal passages. A broken nose is simply fractures to the nasal bones. The septum can also be broken in some cases of nasal trauma. A deviated septum is a common cause of nasal congestion.
