Please see below: A nasal fracture is a fracture of one of the bones of the nose. A deviated septum occurs when your nasal septum — the thin wall that separates your right and left nasal passages — is displaced to one side. Which could happen sequence to broken nasal bone.

Inside /outside: The septum is inside the nose, and if bent will block your breathing. The nasal bones are outside on your face, and you can see them. If fractured they may result in a bent nose and nasal obstruction.

Nasal Anatomy: The nasal septum is in the midline of the nose and is seen on the inside. This is responsible for nasal obstruction, if it is crooked, and can result in a crooked cosmetic appearance or dorsal nasal hump. A nasal bone fracture is an acute injury in which the bones that lie on top of the septum are broken. This too can lead to nasal obstruction and cosmetic deformity.

Different parts: The septum in the cartilage that separates the inside of the two nostrils. It can be bent or deviated. The top part of your nose from the middle of your brow to about half way down your nose is the bony part. A nasal fracture would likely be in this area.

One is inside: A deviated septum refers to crooked or displaced bone and cartilage inside the nose. This can cause blockage of the nasal passages. The nasal bones are on the outside of the upper part of the nose. Both or either the nasal bones and the nasal septum can be broken. Broken nasal bones may cause the outside of the nose to become crooked.

Septum is inside : The nasal bones make up the bridge of your nose, while the septum is cartilage and bone between your nostrils inside your nose. Many times both are fracture in a nasal fracture. Rhinoplasty may be needed to repair these problems.
