Best foods to eat without a gallbladder?

Dr. Mark Hoepfner
General Surgery 39 years experience
Start: With low fat healthy foods. Avoid large meals at first. After you are healed you should be able to eat all foods normally. Healthy food habits are always the best (more fruits & vegetables, less meat & fats).
Dr. Leonard Metildi
General Surgery 45 years experience
Any: There are no dietary restrictions after cholecystectomy. Everyone has certain foods that can cause indigestion. If you had fried/fatty food intolerance before the gall bladder was removed, this should be resolved.
