Curious how your body works without the gallbladder and if you can still eat all the foods you like?

Still Works: The body works without a gallbladder. The gallbladder stores bile which helps us digest fatty foods. Without the gallbladder reservoir, we cannot release as much bile after a meal, so sometimes fatty meals are harder to digest. This tends to improve with time and a low fat diet can help, especially right after surgery if fatty meals are a problem.
