How will a month of complete bowel rest on TPN effect the motility in my gut ?
Currently on TPN infusion, and limited to ice chips by mouth and sips of water w/meds no lg intestine, 5.5 ft of sm intestine in 3 unconnected segments, 2 drains still in place uni of mi surgical consult in 2 wks...will i ever eat again?
